The difference between web design and design for print

Web design is to create a web site that presents content to the user in the form of web pages upon request. Design for print only a kind of page. But web design has lower pixel of image than design print.

Web design displaying more complex media such as vector graphics,animations,videos,sound,usually requires browsers to incorporate optional plug-ins, like quick time and flash. Other plug-ins are using HTML or XHTML tags. Design for print is simple to show the pages and could not listen or see flash from that.

The easy way to say that web design is view static pages and dynamic pages; design for print is only able to see the static pages.
